Colombian coffee is known for its delicious taste and quality. Taste is very balanced and smooth with notes of fruit, chocolate and caramel; with medium body, a bright acidity and a pleasant, clean aftertaste. Of course this reputation is owed to farmers hard work and stringent regulatory guidelines. Beans come from "Triángulo del Café"- Coffee triangle, which is a part of the Paisa region in the rural area of Colombia. Beans are divided into two groups based on size; Supremo (17) and Excelso (15-17). Of course in coffee beans size doesn't always mean quality. Then why seperate them? The reason is roasting.
